Smooth edges, smooth holes and countersunk bolt holes.
Mounting hardware included.......4 SS flat head bolts, SS washers and SS nyloc nuts.
Make sure you apply a marine sealer rated for below the waterline use, in the appropriate locations.
Update Spring 2018
One of the tires was chewed up on the bead area. It was bulged out bad. I had a spare.
There is ABSOLUTELY no way I could have gotten that tire of the plastic rim.
Had to take it to a tire shop in the middle of Baja Mexico and the man worked a LONG time on it with tire irons to get it off.
I don't care for the "underslung" tire configuration and when the tires are in the "up" position, they interfere with the steering of a small outboard motor.
The pins that secure the tire arms to the mounting brackets are very hard to get out and back in.
There is no alignment for those holes and it's just a hunt and peck maneuver to get that pin in.
When launching with the wheels still down, they keep wanting to pop back up with the air pressure and that makes it even harder to get the pins out.....it puts pressure on those pins and makes it tough to get out.
Same with retrieval.....if I would try to get the wheels back down in the water, the tires kept trying to pop up.
Coming out the water stern first, the weight of the small outboard motor made it hard to get up on the sand.
Hence, the need to walk around, knee deep in water or so, to get the wheels down.
Then again, the air in the tires kept pushing up, making yanking the pins out a chore.
A strong young fella might find it all easier.
There are ZERO pieces of paper in the box, no instructions, no warranty, no way to contact the manufacturer. Not a real problem. Installation is mostly obvious. Just find a position where the wheels don't hit anything in up or down position or traveling in between.
I believe that the wheels should go outboard of the supports, but there is no way to confirm this, and I'm not sure it matters.
My only complaint is the length of the 8mm mounting screws. I replaced the 55mm long ones with 40mm ones I bought at Home Depot (an extra $5 spent). The 55mm long ones stuck out into the interior and, in my mind, constituted a safety hazard.
